I’ve designed this itinerary to offer a realistic and fun experience of Nara. Many itineraries you’ll find online are focused on "checking boxes," rushing you to feed the deer and see the Big Buddha before hurrying back to the train. This often leads to a trip where you miss the true spirit of the city its beauty, hidden forest paths, and tradition because you were too busy sticking to an overcrowded schedule.

I believe a vacation should be about immersion, not a race. Nara is a city that rewards those who take their time to explore. This itinerary gives you the space to explore at your own pace.
